By inviting, accessing, or using the Bot, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is based in part on the existing Zero Trust Security Privacy Policy and adapted specifically for the ZTS Guard Bot platform and services. *** ## 1. Information We Collect Depending on how the Bot is configured and used, we may collect limited information necessary for functionality, moderation, security, analytics, and operational purposes. ### a. Discord Data The Bot may process or temporarily store: * Discord User IDs * Server IDs * Channel IDs * Role IDs * Message IDs * Username/display names * Moderation events * Security event logs * Scam or malicious link detections * Bot command usage * Configuration settings ### b. Security & Logging Data To improve security and abuse prevention, the Bot may process: * Join/leave events * Audit-related events * Moderation triggers * Link scanning results * Spam or abuse detections * API interaction logs * Error logs and diagnostic information ### c. Non-Personal Technical Data We may collect limited technical information such as: * Service uptime metrics * Performance statistics * Error reports * Infrastructure diagnostics *** ## 2. Information We DO NOT Collect Unless explicitly required for a feature or voluntarily provided by the user, ZTS Guard Bot does NOT intentionally collect: * Passwords * Emails * Seed phrases * Private keys * Authentication tokens * Payment card information * Government identification * Sensitive personal financial information Users should NEVER submit sensitive credentials or wallet recovery information through Discord or the Bot. *** ## 3. How We Use Information We may use collected information to: * Operate and maintain the Bot; * Provide moderation and security functionality; * Detect malicious activity, phishing, scams, or abuse; * Improve performance and reliability; * Troubleshoot errors and outages; * Enforce Terms of Service; * Protect servers, users, and infrastructure; * Comply with legal obligations. *** ## 4. Data Storage & Retention We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, security, moderation, legal, or technical purposes. Some information may be deleted automatically after a period of time, while certain security or abuse-related logs may be retained longer where necessary to: * Investigate abuse, * Prevent fraud, * Maintain platform integrity, * Protect infrastructure, * Comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to determine appropriate retention periods at our sole discretion. *** ## 5. No Guarantee of Security While we implement reasonable and industry-standard safeguards, NO SYSTEM OR SERVICE CAN BE GUARANTEED 100% SECURE. By using the Bot, you acknowledge and agree that: * Data transmission over the Internet carries inherent risk; * Discord itself is a third-party platform outside our control; * Unauthorized access, breaches, outages, or security incidents may still occur. Third-Party Services The Bot relies on third-party platforms and infrastructure including but not limited to: * Discord APIs * Hosting providers * Security providers * Database or logging services * Cloud infrastructure providers These third-party services may independently collect, process, or store information under their own privacy policies and terms. Use of the Bot is entirely at your own risk. *** ## 9. Children’s Privacy The Bot is not intended for individuals under the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service or applicable law. Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZERO TRUST SECURITY LLC, ZERO TRUST SECURITY, AND ZTS GUARD BOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR LIABILITIES ARISING FROM: * Unauthorized access to data; * Data breaches; * Service outages; * Discord platform issues; * Third-party compromises; * User misuse; * Security incidents; * Data loss or corruption. Users assume all risks associated with use of the Bot and Discord platform. *** ## 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice.
